Something I just thought about, in Gorgeous “there’s nothing I hate more than what I can’t have” - from the beginning she felt like he was out of reach and I think this led to 2 things. 1. She kept bending over backwards for him over and over because she was *strong but possibly accurate word choice* addicted to the chase and the high of winning him over time and time again. And 2. He could literally give the bare fucking minimum and it felt like the world to her cause she never thought she had a chance in the first place.
