The only artist I can compare to Ethel is Daughter, I've listened to her quite a lot in my teens and they give me very similar vibes

The world truly sucks, the water crisis is Richmond right now is something unimagineable-and the worst part is a million other unimaginable things are happening right now across the world. I’m so sorry this is happening to you. I’m so happy we can all find solace in our favorite lizards content. Praying for you and everyone in Richmond and in California and everywhere else

I didn’t enjoy this album. I loved Preachers Daughter. This album makes me feel like I should sleep with a knife under my bed or walk around my house with a baseball bat. It’s too creepy for me. Still love Ethel but this one is not for me. Loved the analysis though

your thoughts on this record have been so similar to my own- i found it very interesting and experimental but agree its much less of a complete, thought provoking strory compared to preachers daughter. and this is my plea for a preachers daughter public lizard episode- perhaps the one exploring parallels with brand new because i honestly think its one of those records that more people need to hearrrr girls its in different areasss

pleek

Hi! Madeline already reviewed Preacher’s Daughter. It’s amongst her first posts if I’m not mistaken!
