I don't know what book genres you prefer but one of my top 5 favorite books I read last year was 'The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches' by Sangu Mandanna. Very cozy romance. Or, if you'd rather read a thriller instead, 'Mexican Gothic' by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. I won’t give my other two faves from last year because they were Fantasy books and the vibe I get from you is not that 😂
