I’m pretty confident that “Hit Me Hard And Soft” will win Album of the Year (I’d clap and cheer) but I’d prefer Midwest Princess to win.
For Song of the Year, I’d cast my vote for “Please, Please, Please”!! I love its unusual key changes, plus I’m a sucker for a fresh bad-boy lyric.
For Record of the Year, I’m not gonna say “Now & Then” by the Beatles should win, but I’m also not not going to say that.
There is an alternate universe in which “Down Bad” was the lead single from TTPD. It’s not as dramatic as the alternate universe in which “Cruel Summer” was the lead single off of Lover, but you get the idea.
RENAISSANCE should’ve won when it was nominated.
Also, it occurred to me today how I could go for a Lizard Review about the album Let Go by Avril Lavigne. In some ways, I can see it being a precursor to Debut.
If I can speak my truth, I don't believe Beyoncé is the reason everyone was into cowboy stuff; it's the other way around. Pink cowboy boots and disco balls with lassos and 10 gal. hats with the saying "Let's go girls" have been pervading the aisles of TJ Maxx and Five Below for YEARS now, and I'd argue it began with the Eras Tour. And everyone was wearing pink cowboy hats to see Chappell when she was opening for Olivia Rodrigo. It's simply the new design trend since before Cowboy Carter even came out
Oh sayyyy this………well I went shopping for Valentine’s Day decor and just cute stuff and went to like Target, Tj Maxx, Wal Mart etc etc, and the amount of pink cowboy boot and pink cowboy hat themed V-day stuff was insannittyyy…………………..so you may be onto something

I cut out two episodes a month so now I only do three episodes every OTHER week (and it’s still dependent on if there’s enough new music for me to even DO a new music episode) so I HAVEEE cut back a little, trust!!
