When you started posting about this album on IG, I assumed it was a throwback album from 1994, and I was like “I’ve never heard of them” 😂 clearly I was confused

Thank you for introducing new music!

Some of the songs of this band have the vibe of those sunny scenes in Dead Poets Society.

You started talking about Blonde and I had to stop the episode and go listen to the album.

Oh. My. God.

This band was made for me. This is like perfect 90s nostalgia but still new??? It's like I'm listening to the musical child of The Cranberries, Concrete Blonde and Lisa Loeb. I need a month or a year to get over this.

The most fascinating thing I've learned about this band so far, aside from ya know - everything, is that on Spotify it says that the majority of their listeners comes from Jakarta, Indonesia...

I haven't listened to this episode yet, but you have to know that you are the reason I listened to their new EP a few days ago...and it's everything to me right now. Can't wait to hear you talk about the album!

Lizard, how does it feel having the band post the link to your mental breakdown over their music on their instagram?🎤

I’m obsessed with stained glass window and mascara (which could be interpreted to be kinda queer too) and blossom… I do fear the album will become my personality as it gets colder and darker outside. Also lizard I’m gonna need a full breakdown of the EP with lyrics. Please?? I know you want to.

I should also mention “our troubles” is so iconic… I fear for my mental health….

I probably never would have discovered Sunday (1994) if it wasn’t for you. So glad I decided to give their EP a listen after you recommended it. It’s probably one of my favourite projects from this year, truly so excellent! Great episode and I hope you will do more episodes about them 🩷
